Just Drafts Terms of Use

By using Just Drafts, you agree to these terms.

License, trial, and purchase

You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the app. The app offers a seven-day trial and an optional lifetime purchase handled by Google Play. Purchase availability, payment, refunds, and account access are also subject to Google Play's terms and applicable law.

Your drafts and backups

You retain ownership of your draft content. Just Drafts is local-first. Google Drive and Dropbox backup are optional convenience features, not guaranteed archival storage. Backups can fail or become unavailable because of account, network, device, provider, or software conditions. Keep independent copies or exports of drafts that are important to you.

Encryption and recovery password

If you enable encryption, you are responsible for safely keeping your recovery password. The developer cannot retrieve it. Losing it may make encrypted backups impossible to restore.

Third-party services

Google Play, Google Drive, Dropbox, Android, and device security services are operated by third parties under their own terms and policies. eldal does not control their availability or behavior.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use it unlawfully.

No guarantee and limitation

The app is provided as available, without a promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, eldal is not liable for lost drafts, lost backups, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited, including applicable consumer rights.

Changes

These terms may be updated when the app or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
